Description

"What can we say…we love this stuff. Also known as Vitalzym Blue, this original blend of Vitalzym was first introduced in 2001 and quickly became the best selling vegetarian systemic enzyme in the US. The secret to this formula is its ability for the majority of the enzymes to bypass the stomach acids. Many take it simply for the daily blood cleansing effects, but it’s mostly taken for pain, inflammation, cardiovascular and fibrin control. A great value…we’re hooked."

Overview

Vitalzym is a unique natural enzyme blend that is particularly suited for applications where inflammation is a characteristic factor. It is designed to provide cardiovascular, respiratory, and immune support.

The enzymes in Vitalzym have proven beneficial in:

• Fighting inflammation

• Eating fibrosis and scar tissue

• Modulating immune function

• Cleaning the blood

• Detoxification

• Fighting viruses

Vitalzym provides the enzymes needed for each of the millions of biochemical reactions

that make life possible. Without enzymes, life could not exist. As we age, our body’s natural production of enzymes may slow. Supplementation with Vitalzym along with proper diet and exercise helps to maintain normal enzyme levels, balancing the body’s own repair mechanisms.

Product Highlights

1. Vitalzym is natural. It contains no animal derivatives, artificial flavors, artificial

colors, yeast, or gluten.

2. Vitalzym is lactose free and contains no harmful talc.

3. Vitalzym is produced with enterically coated enzymes.

4. Vitalzym’s formulation permits it to operate in an extremely wide pH range, allowing

for better absorption in the stomach.

5. Vitalzym uses pure, high-potency enzymes rather than extracts.

Ingredients

Vitalzym is a blend of enzymes that work synergistically to provide total system

support. It contains Serrapeptase, Bromelain, Papain, Amylase, and Lipase. In addition to enzymes, it is supplemented with the antioxidants

Amla and Rutin.

Serrapeptase - Also known as Serratia peptidase; a proteolytic enzyme

isolated from the non-pathogenic enterobacteria Serratia E15. Studies show that serrapeptase induces fibrinolytic, anti-inflammatory and anti-edemic (preventing swelling and fluid retention) activity in a number of tissues. Its anti-inflammatory effects are widely believed superior to other proteolytic enzymes. Another primary benefit of serrapeptase is the reduction of pain; particularly in the enzyme’s ability to block the release of pain-inducing amines from inflamed tissues. Physicians in Europe and Asia use serrapeptase in treatment as an alternative to aspirin, ibuprofen, and other NSAIDs.

Protease - Any enzyme that catalyzes the splitting of proteins into smaller peptide fractions and amino acids by a process known as proteolysis.

Bromelain - An enzyme found in pineapples that breaks down other proteins, such as collagen and has anti-inflammatory properties.

Papain - A proteolytic enzyme obtained from unripe papaya.

Lipase - Lipase digests fat. It is an enzyme secreted in the digestive tract that catalyzes the breakdown of fats into individual fatty acids that can be absorbed into the bloodstream.

Amylase - Any of a group of proteins found in saliva and pancreatic

juice and parts of plants, Amylase digests carbohydrates and helps convert starch to sugar.

Amla - The world’s richest source of Vitamin C. It also contains tannic acid, glucose, protein, cellulose and calcium. Amla is considered to have restorative and preventive

properties.

Rutin - One of the many existing flavonoids. Flavonoids support health by strengthening capillaries and other connective tissue, and some function as anti-inflammatory, anti-histaminic, and antiviral agents.

Other Ingredients - Vitalzym also includes cellulose, maltodextrin, silicon

dioxide, magnesium stearate, and riboflavin.

Dosage

Individuals may require different doses. To find the correct dose, start with 2 capsules, 3 times daily in-between meals. If in three days no benefits are felt, increase the dose to 3 capsules, 3 times a day for three days. Continue increasing the number of capsules taken until a benefit is felt. Most will receive beneficial effects from Vitalzym with 2 to 4 capsules, taken three times a day.

There is no toxicity from enzymes (no LD-50). Some customers who have suffered

accidents have been placed on 10 Vitalzym capsules 3 times a day by their doctors for a few weeks until the bulk of their inflammation and its resultant pain are gone. Those on prescription blood thinners should not use this or any other systemic enzyme without the prior consent of their physician.

Questions and Answers

How long before Vitalzym takes effect?

It may depend on the individual’s physiological makeup. Everyone is different.

Testimonials from current users report positive effects ranging from 3 days to 3 months.

Are there any side effects with Vitalzym?

Vitalzym is well tolerated. With the exception of minor detoxification reactions experienced by some users, there is no documented evidence of any adverse side effects based on the use of Vitalzym. Patients should not take this product without the consent of their physician if they are currently taking anticoagulants, commonly known as blood thinners.

Are there any compatibility issues with other nutraceuticals?

No. In fact, since vitamins are coenzymes and minerals are cofactors to enzymes,

enzymes are needed in the body for them to be able to have their full effect. In

addition, the vitamins and minerals assist the enzymes. Thus, systemic enzyme use

enhances the efficacy of other supplements.

Are the components of Vitalzym derived from non-GMO sources?

Yes, the enzymes in Vitalzym are derived from non-GMO sources.

Is Vitalzym a vegetarian product?

No animal products are used in the development of Vitalzym. The enzymes used are

derived exclusively from plants and lab grown bacteria.

How does World Nutrition grow their enzymes?

The enzymes in Vitalzym come from two sources; the fruit enzymes along with the

amla and rutin are from fruit grown in organic plantations, and the serrapeptase,

protease, and proteinase are lab grown in a protein (fungus) medium. The enzymes

are then extracted from the medium so that not a trace of fungus is left on the

enzyme and the purity is assured.

Does temperature affect Vitalzym?

Exposure to heat over 150º for an extended period of time can destroy the enzymes.

Store your Vitalzym in a cool, dry place, with the lid of the bottle tightly closed.

Properly stored products have a shelf life of 18 months.
